Cruz stood up against stuff and got so far nothing done in office, can’t even get enough support for one law he wrote and got passed.
Trump isn’t a pol, but his list of saving his city many times is well known, his helping people keep their houses, pay medical bill and being a philanthropist raising money for hospitals, many other institutions very well founded.
Trump is a doer, internationally his building has left a legacy that will live well into this century.
We could use someone who gets things done, knows finance and had made amazing deals nobody thought possible.

How did that law get passed without any support, exactly?
And you think the establishment that can block Cruz cannot block Trump?

But what if the regular GOPe candidates (Rubio, Bush, Kasich) fail? If you're the GOPe, who are you going to vote for? Trump is guaranteed to build a Wall and stop illegal immigration and the Cheap Labor Express. But Cruz is more malleable because he needs money and therefore can be influenced. And if Cruz is willing to bend on the Canadian question, how strongly does he really believe in stopping the illegals? To me, Trump is a more serious threat to the GOPe. And therefore the GOPe may ultimately pick Cruz as their man to beat Trump. If you believe this thinking, then Trump is the better path to conservative policies. |
