Hannity this afternoon talked about a National Review article quoting staffers before the election saying they couldn’t find any Trump supporters and that his candidacy was a mirage. Sean said that yesterday’s wake-up call showed them how insulated they are in DC’s cocoon where they only talk to like-minded people. It also showed how badly the populace outside DC is PO’d at the GOPe for not listening to their concerns after the 2010 and 2014 elections, and instead making deals with Obama and the Democrats.
I think it will be telling when Maryland and Virgina vote. I bet the remaining establishment candidate does great. And Trump gets killed in these two states. Because both states rely on the establishments largess. But the further you get away from DC the more Trump makes sense. In fact, I want to vote for the guy who’s votes go down the most in Maryland and Virgina. Its a good tell.
