How Trump can quiet Rubio and Cruz with these three words...
dmztahoe

Posted on 02/10/2016 9:20:33 AM PST by dmzTahoe

Three words that will silence Rubio and Cruz and dramatically contrast Mr. Trump's strength to the Senatots' weakness...

When Mr. Trump is debating, and the establishment Senators (Cruz and Rubio) start proudly saying what they have done in "leading" the fight against this or that, or pushing this or that legislation, I wish Mr Trump would look at them in the eyes and say...

"That's very noble of you to lead the fight, Senator, but tell me something about those efforts... DID YOU WIN? It's one thing to fight for something, but if you don't win, you are a loser. America doesn't need a loser. America needs someone who wins. And that's not you, Senator."

DID YOU WIN?

Marco: "I led the fight against..."

Trump: "Did you win?"

Cruz: "I stood in the Senate and led the fight against..."

Trump: "Did you win?"

Trump is a proven winner. What have Cruz and Rubio won? America will note the difference

Election won.

Dumbest thought ever.

Sadly it will play very well with completely ignorant people.

How has trump fought Obamacare? Has he won?
How has trump fought illegal immigration? Has he won?
What has trump won (other than NH) in the last few years?
How has trump helped America without regard to his bank account prior to this election cycle?

At the moment he's an arm chair quarterback acting like he's better than Cam Newton and if he was in the game Carolina would have won Big. So many points. The scoreboard would blow up because it would be so yuge.

I’d rather Trump ask what Cruz would have to do for the Goldman Sachs $$’s. Open boarders? Amnesty? More H1Bs?

Which also begs the question of Just how heavily invested is he in Ethanol

Trump sticks his greasy finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing just like all other slimy pols.

For some strange reason Trumpsters think the Donald is going to waltz into the Oval Orifice, and all the pols, from both parties, will simply bend to his wishes. That isn't going to happen.

"Like just this morning when interviewed, Cruz stated that Trmps “...says he wants to expand Obomacare”. Never has Trump said that... he always states he wants to repeal it and replace it."

Yes he says he will repeal Obomacare, and he will take care of everybody and the government will pay for it.

yes he can win. But you are a smart person. If Cruz is up by 1 over Hilary and Trump is down by 2 then how can he be drawing in so many Democrats votes? Do not lose the cruz base. I’m ready to stay home because I’m p..d off at being insulted over and over as the Cruz voter. Wake up. diamonds are not ever ever never ever going to vote for someone who they considered a misogynist and a xeno. I don’t think he is. I live in New York. They do. End of story. Please believe me

Agreed. All I’m saying is that if a candidate (no matter who) emphasizes specific failed efforts as a selling points, no matter how gallant they may be, then there’s nothing unfair nor demeaning about asking how it worked out for them. There’s a big difference in questioning something that the candidates themselves raised vs. digging up dirt on them.

Wow, Cruz sounds really good! It is really awful that Cruz was born in Canada. He might have been a good President if he had been eligible.

why don’t you grow up and try to win an election and listen for once. I live in New York. There are no Democrats voting for Trump. They think he hates women and immigrants. And abortion. Cruz is beating Hillary by one point and Trump is losing by 2. Certainly trump can win but if he’s doing so well among Democrats why is he down by two. Get Wise. Without the Cruz voters Trump will lose in November. myself and a large number of Ted Support is congratulated you guys on the victory yesterday and still I read nonsensical threads bashing Ted Cruz. Post positive things about trunk or negative things about rhinos. Keep putting up the stupid threads about Cruz and I certainly will sit home in November as will a lot of Cruz supporters. is that petty? Yes. Is it human nature? Yes.

I guess money is all that matters to some people.

So what youre telling me is Trump won. Proves my point. Trump beat Cruz without even knowing it.

Are you....Are you counting Trumps participation in helping Democrats and the GOPe defeat conservative progress as one of his ACCOMPLISHMENTS?

The length that some will go to rationalize their delusions is astonishing.

and i was so angry the mistakes in that were awful lol

there are TWO BLACK WOMEN making videos!!

that’s it. i havn’t found ONE dem who doesn’t hate him.

a lot of libertarians and conservatives, and maybe half of independents, but please, for the sake of Trump or Cruz winning and no one else, do not depend on votes that wont happen.

or else Trump would be CRUSHING hillary, and he’s not.

based on the same poll agencies that aced it last night.

"She shafted her family."

Like I said to someone else. It seems like money is all that matters to them.

For a small group of Senators opposing an establishment majority, you restrict the definition of “winning” to only nullifying the majority? All else is a failure in your eyes?

And I am not digging up dirt by discussing Trump's bankruptcies, he is running on his business acumen.

Not at all... to both of your questions. I don’t even relate the definition of winning to “only nullifying the majority”. I would associate success with winning but even at, it’s not restrictive. Nobody is always a winner (except for maybe the coin-toss queen. lol). I find that question to be quite disjunctive. I also didn’t mean to insinuate that you were digging up dirt. I was trying to say that my opinion would be different if that were the case as opposed to questioning a topic that the candidates raised themselves. I don’t personalize objective discussion. That’s probably why our opinions differ but that’s purely speculation on my part. So back to my initial opinion. The OP has identified a fair political strategy and there’s no reason to find it otherwise. You’re free to disagree. I’m not trying to change your opinion nor am I seeking validation.
