Why do Cruz supporters lie so much? Trump has not taken one inch of property via eminent domain. Trump has not made a single dime via eminent domain. Stop the lies about Trump!

You are right they will have “equal power”.
BUT
Cruz will be unwilling to utilize the full power available to him, while Trump will have no such issues.
Plus, much of what Trump wants to do requires no new legislation, just the will to enforce laws already on the books.

When are you people going to drop the false H-1B attack? Cruz is co-sponsoring a bill that would suspend them and sharply restrict them. That is a fact that you don’t want to acknowledge.

And the best part is... Trump doesn't even have to get congress to pass any new laws to accomplish this. The laws are already on the books!
That’s what I thought when I first read the headline, but I’m not sure that every registered Republican pays as much attention to the details of issues as those of us here on FR.
I suspect that the vast majority of registered Republicans still believe that ANY Republican is better than Hillary Clinton. And while that may be true, the degree of separation between Jeb! and Hillary is much less than the degree of separation between Ted Cruz and Hillary. While most Democrats these days are cut from the same cloth, the same is not true for all Republicans.
