NY Daily News: Trump Voters are "Brain Dead Mindless Zombies"
Inspired by the NY Daily News | February 10, 2016 | Vanity

Posted on 02/10/2016 7:28:12 AM PST by Zakeet

The MSM newsers not very good at pretending they are impartial these days, and the NY Daily Snooze has abandoned the cause completely with respect to Donald Trump.

Today's front page, shown above, sets the tone for their lead article titled Donald Trump wins 2016 GOP New Hampshire primary; 'We are going to make America great again'. The hack job starts out this way:

Clueless New Hampshire voters handed billionaire bore Donald Trump a "yuge" victory in the first-in-the nation primary Tuesday, providing the mad mogul with a new round of ammo a week after a disappointing second-place finish in Iowa.

More than three in 10 Granite State voters flocked to the foul-mouthed contender, throwing their support to him at levels beyond what the polls had predicted - a day after he referred to a Republican challenger Ted Cruz as a "pussy."

[Snip]

At a victory rally, Trump thanked the state's "special" brainless voters who jumpstarted his momentum in the race.

Undoubtedly the Daily News' unbiased coverage will continue to improve as the campaign progresses.

Be prepared to be sick then. Give us your sources, recent ones about Trump’s negative numbers. I’ve already submitted one from Feb 6.

The only problem with that tornado .gif is that it’s turning in the wrong direction! Otherwise, I love it!

The GOPe doesn’t think much of voters, do they? Guess we shouldn’t blame them because we’ve been buying their schtick for way too long!

It’s time to ‘schlong’ them!

“The Tediban uses polling older than that, but repeats it as gospel ad nauseum.”

You may be on to something.

So sick of hearing this nonsense. Trump has the highest negatives of any Republican candidate, and the worst numbers in head-to-head matchups with the Dem candidates. Consistently. In every poll. For months and months.
_________________________________________________________

I am one of those voters that most say do not exist. I switch between Cruz and Trump on various days and even various hours - I am undecided.

Having said that, I always assume the polls and negatives/positives for either man are pure propaganda intended to split the vote between Trump and Cruz only.

Why? Because the powers that be HATE BOTH OF THEM and they are playing with not only how we think, but with how we “feel”

The far-right conservative score (given by the Powers that Be) of Ted Cruz is meant to appeal to those voters of conservative conscience, but he fails with potential cross over voters. Win for the GOPe.

Donald Trump is an unknown with no proven conservative score (given by the Powers that Be) and his liberal past is trotted out at every opportunity. He can gain plenty of cross over voters, but may lose the needed conservative base that will put him over the top. Win for the GOPe.

We are being manipulated, and it is not by Trump or Cruz.

Are you saying Trump’s not popular in Australia?

It is particularly odd....yeah Trump is (whatever) and his voters are brain dead. I would assume that you could insert Cruz too, and just about any other republican as far as the Daily News is concerned.

But what about the Bernie voters? They’re not complete imbeciles, NY Daily News?

Actually no, I think the more recent poll Gallup took of ALL Americans is a lot more significant than their poll of Democrats:

http://www.gallup.com/opinion/polling-matters/188936/trump-negative-image.aspx

60% of Americans have an unfavorable view of Trump, and everyone in the country knows the man and has know him for many years. So I think that number is not likely to shift significantly.

Now this isn’t just one poll from Gallup. These are consistent results, as shown when 538 analyzed all the favorability ratings from a bunch of pollsters since November:

http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/donald-trump-is-really-unpopular-with-general-election-voters/

Trump still came up with both the lowest net favorability and the highest unfavorability among all candidates in the general election. So to say “Trump has the best chance of winning” is actually the opposite of what the polls tell us. The polls tell us he has the absolute worst chance of winning the general of any candidate, from either party.

Interesting. In 1990 I was invited to the Mont Pelerin meeting in Germany (they paid my way, so I went). I was in a room with James Buchanan, Milton Friedman, Richard Tullock, Gary North, and George Stiglitz. Hell, I was the only one WITHOUT a Nobel.

I agree. This is a total fabrication pushed vociferously by almost every conservative talking head and talk radio jockey who are supposed to have half a brain and be able to see through BS. Unbelievable. If this is true then Trump would would cause conservatives and Republicas to either stay home and not vote or a write in waste or to even cross over and vote for the Democrat? Trump is the one person that can elicit lots of votes from the usual low info crowd and democrats that also want some nationalism or America first agenda over internationalism / globalism injected back into elections as they also see America going down the drain. Many white working class people that would normally either not vote or vote dem are fed up also and will vote for Trump. If Trump can accomplish on trade and immigration what is best for America and against the one worlders then he will be a more conservative and efficacious President than even Reagan. This scares the crap out of the establishment. How do all the conservative warriors on talk radio all not see this? Are they all blind or bought?

Many polls show trump beating Dems better than Cruz.

And the negatives - is that all voters, if not exactly who is it?
