Your state is tough to figure out. By they way they voted out there, they would like to have ethanol eliminated. Trump may oblige them.

A lot of people in Iowa really don't care about ethanol one way or the other. If the government didn't force me to subsidize it and mandate me putting it in my vehicle, I'd have little problem with ethanol. . . but they do both, and that frosts my azz.

Unfortunately, a lot of working stiffs out here do depend on these crutches that the government sets up, and eliminating ethanol overnight would mess up a lot of flyover families. It isn't just the farmers, but also the truckers, the ag chemical/seed suppliers, the bulk fuel dealers, the industrial equipment people, the "granger" railroaders, the local retail businesses, and so on. It is no wonder that on the subject of ethanol, Iowa is a schizo place.
