I'll be more generous. Perhaps younger people don't have a memory of Bill and hill when they were starting their national climb. Add to that, perhaps there was some of being "blinded by the light"
Thing is, once people see it, it never goes away. And lots of people saw it with that Iowa campaign.

Christie did Cruz’ dirty work in knocking out Rubio, and didn’t benefit by it. Almost like a Passion Play with Pilate doing the dirty work of Herod....
I’m not sure Rubio is out for the count. The three of them....Cruz, Jeb, Rubio are pretty close in vote count, and it’s volatile. I can’t imagine Jeb going a whole week without putting his foot in his mouth, and I can’t imagine many new voters going to “dirty tricks” Cruz.
