Why make anybody Surgeon General? A conservative president would get rid of the make-work position.
The point is that Carson would be very qualified and good at any Health related position. Head of the CDC, etc.
If they want to do away with some of those positions and departments...who better to wind it down and hand it off to the states than Carson?
How about Trump makes Dr. Carson surgeon general, and then puts him in charge of dismantling Obamacare; that’s not make work, that is real work!
