It is sad that so many people are proud of their ignorance. I have known that Sikh and Muslim are different since being a teen in rural Indiana four decades ago. There is more to life than the NBA and NFL.
Sikhs are not muslimes. Sikhs and muslimes are enemies.
Can you link to the part of the Constitution that mentions turbans?
Yes, I asked that question. You were unable to find it, so you threw a bunch of other nonsense back at me.
sikhs are the good guys. They hate mohhamedans with a burning passion.
This has nothing to do about liking or disliking Sikhs.
My best friend in college in India was a Sikh. He wore his turban and had virgin hair 4 feet long under the turban. Both of us immigrated to America, me to the US, he went to Canada. He adapted, assimilated, and shaved his beard, and tossed the turban. I greatly admire that, over people who immigrate to country with different culture and dress code, and insist on bringing their culture with them. If they like their culture better than American culture, why come here?
Never having heard of him doesn't make him less famous. It does make you ignorant.(no, that is not a slam)
I had never heard of him, either. Now we both know and are informed. :)
Sounds like a song. “Sikhs to the left of me, Gurkhas to the right, here I am.....”
But I can appreciate the sentiment.
Readers of our posts can draw their own conclusions.
Morons, Sikhs are the good guys.
I’d rather remain uninformed when it comes to so called celebrities...
Are they allowed to bring their ceremonial knives on board?
That’s a good question.
Hey, I've no problem with folks coming here for our slopes. The nice folks I tell to use the runs on the east side of the Sandias. All others can use the west side runs... ;-)
Yes, but you were curious enough to click on this thread and comment. That shows a willingness to educate yourself in spite of your desire.
I didn’t know this particular person but I know that Sikhs are quite peaceful and not a threat so I wanted to find out if the security person confused this gentleman with a muslim.
I’ve always loved that Crusader image! Thanks for posting it.
Or get them to hike La Luz, the Hypothermia Highway.
I've admired those folks who hike it. From a distance, comfortably, while riding in the gondola to the top...
