Super Tuesday will tell the tale when we get a bunch of “winner take all” states..
I believe Cruz will take Texas and a few other states outright.
Super Tuesday is not winner take all. Winner takes all starts March 15th with FL and OH being the big prizes.
Actually all the Super Tuesday states are proportional. That dilutes the value of the insurgent candidates until the GOPe has decided who they support to win. Most states after Super Tuesday, including Florida and Ohio, are winner take all.

Super Tuesday is March 1st this year. All states between March 1 and March 14 are proportional.
My understanding is that the SEC primary is all proportional. They winner take all states don’t commence until March 15.
