Trump is not a "Real Conservative". Even many of you Trump fans have admitted that over these months.

You are right.

Look at Trump's motto, "Make America Great Again". His motto is not "Bring America to Christ", or "Shrink America's Government". His motto is "Make America Great". He wants America to regain greatness.

Trump is not a traditional conservative. Neither is he libertarian. Trump is a nationalist.

And perhaps that's what many of us want this time around: somebody who loves America, and wants Americans to be prosperous and secure once more.

Well said. And this is exactly why I popped off to someone a big ago that nobody cares about the constant “Trump isn’t a conservative” bleating. Ideology is just words. Trump has named the enemy, identified the issues, and has the track record to prove he can make American great again.

When people say “Trump is not a real conservative” I’d like to know their laundry list of “real conservative” positions. I consider these positions he has stated to be bona fide conservative:

Cut many fed agencies such as (but not necessarily limited to because I may have forgotten some or not heard all the ones he’s mentioned):
IRS
Dept of Ed
EPA

Strengthen the military

Take better care of vets

Cut FRAUD WASTE AND ABUSE in gov spending

Take power of education out of deecee and back to local control

Cut red tape and excessive regulations

Doesn’t believe in global warming and obviously will not push that

Secure borders and follow immigration laws

Build wall and MX will pay (think “remittances”)

Reduce immigration drastically

Deport illegals including those in US prisons

Mentioned looking into voting fraud

Support 2nd Amendment

Hoping to overturn SCOTUS “gay” marriage ruling

Not get involved in foreign policing - let nations figure their problems out

Make countries who are protected by US military pay

Make good trade deals

Bring manufacturing and thus jobs back to the US

Simplify tax code

Says marriage is between a man and a woman

I know there’s more but what isn’t conservative in this list? What’s missing?
