I posit that many of the "hate" comes from trolls riling up Freepers. It's hard, but it's best to ignore most of them.

Many Freepers (and Trolls) do spout "We want a conservative who will stand up for the Constitution," but the more pragmatic people realize that, for better or worse, our country is made up of individuals with two sides of a brain--although some of those individuals do happen to be mind-numb robots, but I digress. Our Constitution does provide us the foundation, but over the past years, especially under the 0, that foundation is in being torn down. If you want to look at it this way: Many people see Trump as the master builder who can start the process of fixing that foundation.

Personally, I like both Cruz and Trump. I'm fine with either one. But Trump is the no-nonsense builder and entrepreneur and many of us believe he's the one who can get the building constructed right, first. To me, Cruz is the one who can keep that building clean, maintained and in proper order for generations to come. I think both will make an excellent team.

Why hate on him? Many of us don't. Especially those of us who know a bit of history and know how this country has swung since it's inception. Again, I posit that many of the "hate" comes from trolls riling up Freepers. You can sometimes tell, because they tend to use socialist/communist tactics. (See Alinsky) It's best to ignore most of them.
