Now I want all able bodied women between the ages of 18-35 to register for selective service. If they fail to register, then they are subject to the same punishment as men. This is what the equal rights crowd wanted, this is what they get.
No special protections for women in the military, no maternity leave, no special accomodations, no special treatment whatsoever. And especially NO being excused from having to serve in combat.
Women wanted equal rights, sided with the radical feminists, now they have own up to it. Now women will get to serve in combat, and get to eat a bullet just like the men that they serve along side with.
The problem is that male soldiers and Marines who had nothing to do with this policy may die as a result of you wanting to make some point. To me, that is not an acceptable trade-off.
