What I have been reliably depending on is the careful effort at ignoring Cruz, and puffing Trump, by the MSM.

Also, the labor union fliers all indicate fear of Cruz, and total ambivalence toward Trump.

That is the most reliable gauge.

He's running the same campaign Obama did: lots of slogans and platitudes without any specifics.

Actually, he did and he’s done so numerous times.

Actually, not. You're hearing what you want his words to mean (regarding the homosexual matter in question) and not what DT is saying and has said in this campaign.

(Stay on topic, ManHunter.)

I do believe you are right. There is a media “war” going on. Our “FREE” Republic has many critical thinkers that seek the truth and usually find it. Also, there are many trolls that have there agenda (Agenda 21? or “their” candidate) and are quite apt at brainwashing the misguided masses. Sorry to say, that most “Thinkers” don’t think toward the truth because they refuse to seek it.

“At oral argument on March 26, 2003, Paul M. Smith, an experienced litigator who had argued eight cases before the Supreme Court, spoke on behalf of the plaintiffs. Texas Attorney General John Cornyn, then a candidate for the US Senate, refused to have his office argue the case. Charles A. Rosenthal, District Attorney of Harris County, represented the state. His performance was later described as “the worst oral argument in years”, but some believe his lack of preparation reflected his lack of enthusiasm for the statute he was defending.”

When the Supreme Court agreed to hear the Case, in Nov 2002, Cornyn was the Attorney General.

Could Abbott and Cruz then agree to, in retrospect, in March of 2003, argue after that decision was made by Cornyn, as Texas Attorney General, not to do so? Maybe, maybe not, I do not know the answer, I will admit.

BTW, Cruz was an underling of Abbott’s, he was not the Attorney general.

Saying Cruz “punted” is just putting spin on this.

You and I are free of the jurisdiction of the World Court solely due to Ted Cruz’ ability to fight.

SCOTUS ultimately affirmed the right to own guns in the Heller decision that was headed down in flames until they received Ted’s Amicus.

No, he has no idea how to fight.

This is what I don’t get over all the Trump-love on FR. The guy has ZERO record of actually BEING any kind of conservative. Hell, he isn’t even a libertarian...

Sure, he gives good speech like any good used car salesmen... But that is it. Period. Full stop. People only have his CAMPAIGN PROMISES that this is how he’ll handle himself as executive.

“Read my lips, no new taxes...”

Don’t we EVER learn?

Oh, heck no. But Cruz is the only one working for the conservative vote, and if he attracts record turnout of the 25% of NH’s right-R vote like he did in IA he will outperform his polling which is all over the board anyway.

Touche. I still would like to hear Ted give the reason. He has not been asked about it. I wish media would. You do not keep your best player on the bench for political points.

We learned from the “Canadian Cruz” dustup that Donald thinks Lefty Lawrence Tribe, of “living breathing constitution” fame, is a go-to guy on constitutional issues.
............................................................
We learned NO SUCH THING! Lawrence Tribe was Cruz’s professor and had made the statement that Obama (also his student0 was smarter than Cruz. Tribe has been outspoken on the subject of eligibility and simply because he is left wing (Harvard anyone?) does not prove a damned thing. I get FED UP with extrapolations of anything and everything Trump says by Cruz supporters who are always putting words in Trump’s mouth in order to further their cause of Cruz’s eligibility. Refusing to recognize the Constitution as it is written is ADDING to its destruction. Keep it up Cruz people and you will bring down the entire structure of the USA. You are making a good start!

All you need to listen to is his clear, unambiguous affirmation that he would be advancing Gay Rights.

The rest is typical Trump smoke.
