The concept of a moral constitution was used as a justification for a position. I challenged that as being the driving force behind the decision.

If moral constitution is the justification for having a problem on this issue, what about others?

If you are using that justification inconsistently across the two candidates, it no longer represents moral absolutes. It becomes nothing more than a eloquent, righteous sounding “because I said so”.
