Yea, they play off of a horrible human weakness, which is the inability of most good people to accept that pure evil exists. No doubt in the 1930s there were Jews yelling that “Hitler will kill us all!”. The typical response was likely something like “Hitler isn’t great, but we Jews have been through everything and survived, we’ll survive this idiot”.

Or, in more modern days, try convincing people that education policy in this country is now federalized with the explicit goal of bringing the country down a few notches and bringing white males down a few notches beyond that. Say that and most people will ponder “Who do I call to have him committed?”. What blows me away are some immigrants that I’ve helped to navigate around our education system, so that their kids don’t get grinded up in it. Even these people keep hitting me with astonishment as to what the schools are doing (they still send their kids to public schools) - my response is ALWAYS “why are you surprised, you already know your kids will never get an education there”.

It’s virtually hopeless and Rubio is talking to maybe 5% of Republicans and 2% of the country...it won’t help him.

It dawned on me when I was talking to a neighbor a couple weeks ago. He is somewhat conservative and pretty low information. He’s not an obama but when I said that I was hoping a candidate that doesn’t despise America would win the election, he was taken aback! Clutch the pearls! He disagreed with me that obama does these things intentionally! He simply cannot believe that a president would not care about America, its impossible! He has no idea...

Understand - it’s possible that Rubio was trying to reach Rush with that line, because Rush does understand it.

But coming off like a robot, THANKFULLY, backfired on him.

My trouble with Trump is that often he seems to be saying that he would have done what Obama did but better. Yesterday he said, almost as an aside that maybe Obama wants ISIS not destroyed but only humbled.

But maybe Trump thinks pretty much the same way. In the past he has favored Obama’s objectives if not his specific remedies.

Not sure I follow on the example...but I agree with Trump - the President doesn’t really seem to have his heart in winning against ISIS, rather it’s more like making a show to look like he cares.

The fact that Trump wants to crush ISIS doesn’t mean he’ll go on a rampage through the Middle East - what’s more likely is that instead of risking a world war to try to stop Russia, he’ll actually help them, which would be fine with me.

The CIA created ISIS to, among other things, assassinate Assad & overthrow Syria as in other ME countries - collectively known as Operation "Arab Spring."

That's why...

1. While the US claims to 'fight ISIS,' they haven't done jack, despite years of "fighting."
2. The Rooskies are in Syria and REALLY ARE fighting ISIS.
3. ISIS is based out of countries the US overthrew and whose leaders USGOV assassinated.
4. The US keeps 'accidentally' airdropping tons of heavy weapons to ISIS.
5. USGOV "combat" air missions "against" ISIS come back with all their weapons.
6. US SOCOM/SOF are in these countries arming, supplying, training, and directing ISIS.
7. Miles long ISIS convoys, in brand new fleet purchased Toyotas, operate openly in the daytime without any fear of USGOV action.

Trump is quite correct. Omuslim doesn't want to defeat ISIS because the USGOV *** is *** ISIS.
