Bearing false witness a Christian virtue? Last time I checked it was a sin. You prim and proper prigs crucify Trump for adultery that happened years ago. Not a peep concerning Cruz committing the sin of bearing false witness a week ago against a truly Godly man. Focus on the mote in my eye at your peril. On Judgment Day intellectual dishonesty as you prigs display will not be looked upon kindly. As far as cursing goes, it is impolite, but last time I checked cursing your mother or father were sins. Taking The Lords name in vain was a sin. Calling someone a pussy was not.
You know, 20 years ago, someone could have used the word gay in several contexts. Oh and I know women who were actually named Gay. Because people allowed it, the term gay has been hijacked to pretty much exclusively mean liking the same sex. End of story. Too bad—they took the image of rainbows too.
It is because the PC crowd, groups with agendas, and media hijack certain words and make others off-limits that this is allowed to happen...
For example: “n-word”-dly (which actually means stingy) Oh but did you know that?...I bet you thot it is a derogatory term towards African Americans didn’t you?
I looked up the “P-word”/s in the dictionary....Webster’s to be exact. Since 1947 the word was used to mean a wimp or coward. Now the word “pussy” (oooh there I said it) may be construed to be meaner, but it means coward....It is a controversial word because it also is a vulgar term for woman’s anatomy when discussing certain topics, but the word was used by the woman in the crowd as meaning Cruz was a wimp and you know it....
Maybe it is me, but I don’t think the term has jumped to being used exclusively for woman’s anatomy. And I think Webster backs me up because the coward use of the term is not considered archaic yet...(do you know what that means?)
So where are your thoughts and mind??....I didn’t automatically think of a woman’s anatomy when I heard Trump—and I actually was watching it live...

You must have skimmed the whole etymology part where it said pussy has been used to describe female genitalia since the 1700’s. Well roll me over in the clover, who knew?

that was one of several definitions...that was not the one used at the Rally—which I saw as it happened. Perhaps you noted several other definitions for the word as well.

Too many people want a pure holy saint who has never said a bad word or committed a sin to run. If everything every candidate had said or done was made public, many people thinking Cruz or Rubio are pure and holy and absolutely honest and truthful would have the freaking shock of their lives.

Cruz pretends to be against amnesty but will only self deport the illegals, leaving the deadbeat illegals on public assistance in the country. Add in his agreement with McLame on being against waterboarding and what do you really have left. Not much. Cruz never had to back down because he never really stood up.

Cruz was not sitting in some war room at 6:59 pm scheming on how he would take out the failing Carson campaign by spreading some lie...
All that happened was his campaign passed a story reported by CNN on down the line within their campaign. That’s it.
Cruz did the honorable thing and apologized to Mr. Carson, and that should have been the end of it. But the chief narcissist deemed it necessary to try and diminish Cruz by attacking him CONSTANTLY over the previous week. And his lemmings of followers joined in.
As to the scandalous affairs Trump had in the past, he wrote about them himself, and was proud of them.
Clinton was proud of his sexual promiscuity as well ya know. What a great role model you have in Donald Trump.
I’m comfortable with who my savior is, Jesus Christ. You may have a problem with that, hopefully you know Him as well. I will say this though, in the civil discourse which people exhibit here on Free Republic, those of you quite literally attacking fellow FReepers, using some of the most vile, vulgar language I have seen in a long time, you are doing nothing but showing your true colors.
