Naive is the key word for Germans. Just like our dear leader, or maybe cunning in his plan to destroy the America we grew up in completely.
Just as we were presented with fotos of families escaping the Syrian war...this is literally what the german press was fomenting. They have no alternative media outlets like we do... ie talk radio. But slowly especially over the internet, more people are reading and hearing what’s going on. NYE across Germany was the tipping point, the press couldn’t just continue to suppress all the reports. Yes, they were naive...but I’ve spoken to relatives who know less about what’s going on than I do. They’re simply not hearing it in the National reporting... Pegida and the AFD are making noise, and gaining support. I am hoping that many Germans are just not openly stating they’re supporting the AFD because they’re afraid of being called Nazi’s and racists. We shall see if there is a silent majority growing.
