Bush super PAC poll has Jeb in third, Marco in fifth

With just hours to go until primary votes are cast here, a new poll conducted by Jeb Bush’s super PAC finds him moving into third place.

The poll, which was conducted after the end of Saturday night's debate and concluded before the start of the Super Bowl on Sunday evening, shows Donald Trump with a wide lead over the field with 29 percent. John Kasich follows with 14 percent, followed by Bush at 12 percent. Ted Cruz, the winner of the Iowa caucuses, notches 10 percent.

The one-day survey of 300 likely New Hampshire voters found Marco Rubio at just 9 percent following his widely panned performance in the debate. The Florida senator came under withering attack from Chris Christie, who cast him as unfit and unprepared for the Oval Office. Christie trails Rubio with 8 percent.

The figures were provided by a Right to Rise donor who had been briefed on them. The pro-Bush group has retained Public Opinion Strategies, a prominent Republican polling firm, to conduct its survey research.

Dang, if your own PAC can’t fudge the numbers better than showing you as 3rd, then wow. You suck.

Problem is - they actually fudged the stats to get him to third. And not last - trailing Kasich.

lololol

it is entirely possible that Christie! will finish ahead of Marco! with Marco! in 6th place.

Marco’s support is thin because his supporters aren’t as ideological.

What is next thing to obsess over here on Freeper? Tennessee on 3-1? I am committing to go to Maine for the caucuses 3-5. Gives me 3 weeks to do ID and GOTV effort.

Maine for Cruz. Statewide Turnout of 8000 makes each participant crucial.

I want a stake through Bush’s heart.

The “establishment fav” will have a chance at nomination whether anyone likes it or not. I would much rather see Rubs do well than Bush, or Gay’s itch (or Wide Load).

Bush and Gay’s itch are the only ones worse than Boris Johnson.

Hate to repeat myself as much as Robio but it’s a setup. Pray Trump runs away with it and puts an end to the GOPe trying to win yet again.

“New Hampshire voters found Marco Rubio at just 9 percent following his widely panned performance in the debate.”

Rubio needs to drop out, IMHO. The sort of total collapse he had on stage tells me he’s not ready for the big chair. Granted, I’m not a Rubio supporter in the first place. Especially when it comes to illegal immigration. But even if he was “my guy”, I’d have to seriously rethink my support.

Rubio is just too easily rattled and unable to think on his feet to be confident about his ability to be Commander-in-Chief. Christie came at him hard, in true “smashmouth politics” style. No question about that. But that’s nothing compared to what he’d have to face with the 3 AM phone call.

Just my opinion, of course.
