Ted Cruz is wrong about CNN's reporting

Not to quibble, but their ‘ethics’ are not really all that malleable. Try suggesting that it might be wrong for Cruz to lie in order to win [as he has bald faced lied at least twice about Trump, by last count]. They see that as bad, wrong, and yes, even evil. They will argue for hours, even days, that it’s okay for Cruz to lie about Trump. Because lying about Trump serves a higher good. (Granted they will generally try to twist words into psychotic pretzels to claim a black and white, open and shut outright lie is actually true—but it amounts to the same thing.)

They live in a simple world. Anything that helps Cruz, no matter how unethical or dishonest, is good. Anything that hurts Cruz—especially the truth—is bad. And that’s really about the size of it.

I'm not sure what the "other stuff" is, but there wasn't really anything to correct. Their on-air report was odd, but did not say he was getting out. One could easily assume that because of where Carson is in the polls, but that would be the listener's fault.

I guess it's hard to understand, because we are in an election year and have been doing a lot of talking about our candidates and why we like/dislike others, but my anger about CNN's TV report is all about ME.

I know what I believed after hearing their sloppy report, and for them to say they did nothing wrong by reporting from tweets, (which I couldn't see)....... then FORGETTING to announce the FINAL tweet (on TV) that said Carson "was staying in the race" was WRONG for those of us just getting news from the TV.

Sorry if it's narcissistic of me, (just a commoner), to expect an apology when they screw up.

Again. No one can be held accountable, nor should they be, if you draw a flawed conclusion from their report.

I heard the same thing and did not hear Carson was leaving the race.
I thought it odd, but Carson IS odd.
