After strong debate, Christie, Bush resume attack on Rubio

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie roared into Sunday after a fierce debate performance hours earlier in which he slowed rising, fellow GOP presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio, with the New Hampshire primary ahead.

“He’s a good guy, but he’s just not ready to be president,” Christie told “Fox News Sunday,” after attacking Rubio for his inexperience in running government. “I felt justified because I’ve been saying this for a long time.”

Christie is one of three GOP candidates with governor experience competing with Rubio for the so-called “Republican establishment” vote and trying to stay alive in the race, with insurgents Donald Trump and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz also in the top tier.

“I am tested and prepared and ready,” said Christie, arguing that Barack Obama becoming president as a one-term senator, like Rubio, has been a disaster for the country.

The substance of the article notwithstanding..... I couldn't help but wonder after watching and listening to Christie all week, then the debate and the afterword, if he hasn't struck a deal with Trump.

Trump/Christie?

I actually think that Christie is in the Bush camp and is Jeb’s attack dog.

Either Trump or Jeb is writing the check for Krispy Kreme.

No. Never. Christie says that he is “experienced” in governing. Yes, plenty of experience. And everything he has done is wrong, crooked, or both.

Not that Rubio isn’t a jerk, too.

Recall Christie and Obama arm in arm on the Jersey Shore, tut-tutting over the hurricane damage. They pocketed a billion dollars between them and did absolutely nothing to fix it.

So disgusted with that big fat bully Chris Christie. He carefully planned his assault on Rubio from the get go and then accuses Rubio of having prepared comments and statements.

What pissed me off the most was when Christie rudely attacked Rubio when Rubio was in the middle of making a very important point, perhaps the most important point of the whole evening: That Obama knows exactly and precisely what he is doing. Something I’ve always known to be true myself. I only wish Obama was weak, bumbling, and incompetent. He got a lot through in first two years in office. And since the Republicans took back Congress, he still gets much of what he wants using Executive power and orders.

That was the point Rubio was trying to make, yet it was overshadowed by that bullying pig Christie.

Rubio was making an important point? It was more like an important lie.

I’m a Cruz supporter.

However, Christie interrupted Rubio while making an important point about BHO. BHO knows exactly and precisely what he is doing and enacting his agenda to transform this country.
