California issued 605,000 new driver's licenses for immigrants in the U.S. illegally last year

Judith Benitez had gone most of her adult life without knowing how to drive.

The 35-year-old woman from Mexico who is in the U.S. illegally would ask family members for rides to pick up her children from school. Trips to the grocery store or the doctor's office were complicated.

That changed last year when Assembly Bill 60 was implemented, granting people in the country illegally the right to obtain driver's licenses in California.

"Truthfully, it was an extremely emotional time because having a [driver's] license isn't just any little thing," she said. "We feel a little more protected."

Licenses to break the law, essentially.

Recall we were told by a federal judge and the entire California Democratic party that “you can’t make an immigration law” in a state.

So Jerry Brown and Luis Alejo did just that. And no one said anything, least of all the liars on the federal bench.

When my wife applied for a Drivers License in California, she also was on the ROLLS to vote. And even got called for jury duty. She is from Mexico.

Oh you mean from the 9th Short Circuit of Appeals. Weren’t these the same folks who invalidated Prop 187 out there, or was it a state court? Regardless, the state and federal judiciaries are loaded with lefty loons who will make their own laws to benefit the Democratic Party.

Maryland does the same.

However the licenses are labelled ‘Not valid for Federal Identification’ meaning that their drivers licenses identify them as illegals.

With Motor Voter those 605,000 are now Democrat voters!

I actually favor requiring everyone who drives in the US having a license that demonstrates understanding of our laws and competency in the mechanics of driving.

This 'OK to operate a motor vehicle' should in no way be confused (or confusable) with an ID card or proof of legal residency.

"Like that will make a difference in our elections here."

It's happening all over the country. If you're a legal permanent resident and you get a legal driver's license you are also illegally registered to illegally vote under Motor Voter.

Another example of how the slavery issue totally screwed up our laws.

In Prigg v Pennsylvania Justice Story ruled that states didn't have to enforce Federal laws. (In this case, it was the fugitive slave laws.)

It was a defacto permission from the court to ignore the laws of your nation.

Yup. We'd all be migrating there.

It was the federal district court in Los Angeles, and then the arbitration service of the 9th.

And every attempt since: the Mexicans scream, “ju can’t make an eemegration law! Eeet ees een de Constitution!!” as if they had anything to do with the U.S. Constiution.

Translation: any law that restricts illegals access to U.S. cash will be shouted down by the mob; any law that enables them to have the privileges of citizenship and more will be passed swiftly and then zealously applied.

It’s CRIMINAL.

America is finished as a Republic, If there was another planet to EMigrate to I would be on the first space ship off this world, but since there is none... Hunker Down.

Either that or start an underground colony in Antarctica as a new “Country” that is a Republic and write it’s constitution to fill in the gaps and lessons learned from the failures in this one...

I understand where you are coming from...One concern I have is that in some states (maybe all), there is motor-voter registration—here in Illinois, I worry that licensing illegals is just a conduit for vote fraud through registration of illegals at the time they get their license.

Of course we also had the esteemed Illinois governor Ryan spending a stint in one of IL finest penal institutions for selling truck driving licenses to illegals who could not pass the test....
