It was Clinton who required transcripts of her speeches (owns and controls them)

Clinton said Friday on MSNBC she doesn/t regret giving speeches because they were a way to communicate about what she was seeing around the world.

Hillary routinely demanded a stenographer be present so she could maintain a record of what she said. At least four of Clintonâ€™s contracts include a clause stating a transcript would be produced for Clinton and that she would own them and control their release, according to contracts obtained by McClatchy. The sponsor will transcribe Speaker/s remarks as they are being delivered, which should be solely for the Speaker/s records, according to the University of Buffalo contract, which paid her $275,000.

Identical words appear in contracts between the Harry Walker Agency, which represents Clinton, and the Univ of Connecticut, which paid her $250,000; the Univ of Nevada at Las Vegas, which paid her $225,000, the Univ of California at LA, which paid her $300,000. The contracts between the agency representing her and four public universities are subject to open records law, but contracts with private schools such as Colgate, Hamilton College, Simmons College and the University of Miami as well as other private groups are not.

Andrew Smith, of the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, said Clinton and her husband, often wait out a controversy in the hopes it goes away. Common Cause president Miles Rapoport said These are privileged access speeches, purchased with very large fees that go to the heart of how money influences politics....voters should have access to what is said and promised at these gatherings.

Clinton made about $21.5 million after she stepped down as the nation/s top diplomat in early 2013 and before she launched her presidential campaign in the spring of 2015. In 2013, Hillary accepted $1,575,000 from Wall Street banks blamed for the 2008 financial crisis.

HOW TO BUY THE CLINTONS

The head of a Canadian company with an enormous interest in the Congo's mining and oil sector, Lukas Lundin of Lundin Mining, announced a $100 million donation to the Clinton Foundation on the heels of Hillary/'s first presidential campaign.

After the Congolese government attempted to regain control of its own mines, the State Department intervened on behalf of Lundin Mining and another mining company, Freeport Mines, also a Clinton foundation donor.

A round of talks in 2010, thought to be aided by the Clinton State Department, concluded with the pair of well-connected companies retaining their stakes in the mines and with the Congolese government being shut out of its own resources. (hat tip Schweizer book---Clinton Cash)

EXHIBIT ONE---Hillary/s State Dept Aide Shared Classified Information With Clinton Foundation, Email Shows; Cheryl Mills sent information marked confidential to Clinton Foundation in 2012 / BY Alana Goodman September 28, 2015

A key aide of Hillary Clinton emailed classified information about the government in Congo to a staffer at the Clinton Foundation in 2012, according to a copy of the correspondence obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Cheryl Mills, Clinton/s chief of staff at the State Department, sent the email to the Clinton Foundationâ€™s foreign policy director, Amitabh Desai, on July 12, 2012.

The message, which was originally obtained by the group Citizens United through a public records request, is partially redacted because it includes foreign government information that has been classified Confidential by the State Department......but was not marked classified by the State Department until this past summer, intelligence sources tell the Free Beacon that it would have been classified at the time Mills sent it because foreign government information is considered classified from inception.

The message could add to concerns from congressional and FBI investigators about whether former Secretary Clinton and her aides mishandled classified information while at the State Department.

About half of the forwarded message was redacted due to its classified nature before the State Department released it to Citizens United last month. Although it is not clear what the redacted section includes, the State Department said in a court motion filed last week that it concerns both foreign government information and critical aspects of U.S. foreign relations, including U.S. foreign activities carried out by officials of the U.S. Government.

The State Department added that the disclosure of this information has the potential to damage and inject friction into our bilateral relationship with African countries whose cooperation is important to U.S. national security.

The Clinton Foundation and the State Department did not respond to request for comment about the email, or say whether Desaiâ€”a non-government employee who has worked at the foundation since 2007â€”would have been authorized to view â€œConfidentialâ€ information.

Cheryl Mills later forwarded the full message to the foundation/s operative along with talking points for ex-President Clinton shortly before Bill Clinton was scheduled to visit the Congo region.

MORAL OF THE STORY When Hillary smells money, she will flout the law to suck-up to Clinton Foundation donors....particularly w/ financial stakes in the lucrative oil/mineral mining industry.

BILL CASHES IN The Associated Press notes that during Hillary Clintonâ€™s time as secretary of state, Bill Clinton earned $17 million in talks to banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, real estate businesses, and other financial firms.

SUM TOTAL Altogether, the Clintons are estimated to have made over $139 million from paid speeches.

Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, combined to earn more than $153 million in paid speeches from 2001 until Hillary Clinton launched her presidential campaign last spring, a CNN analysis shows.

In total, the two gave 729 speeches from February 2001 until May, receiving an average payday of $210,795 for each address.
