Yep. All this talk about 'expedited' re-entry is just grasping on to whatever thread the losing side can hold on to.
It's true that Trump has said those words (the links have been posted to me multiple times), but it's almost comical that some people are imagining a scenario where an illegal goes to Tijuana and gets a hall pass from some Mexican government amnesty drone, then proceeds straight back across the border waving their 'pass' into America.
FFS, it ain't gonna work like that under any circumstance.
People forget that Trump isn't a polished politician, and because of that, he's not micro managing every stinking word that comes out of his mouth. The man is open and honest almost to a fault, and sometimes says things in haste, that can be easily spun to mean the opposite of what he intended.
When he said that he wanted to expeditiously bring back "the good ones", I knew that he said that out of compassion for those who will, no doubt, be severely impacted by the hammer he's about to bring down upon them.
The man's not stupid. He knows how much angst and emotional turmoil is going to be felt when he unleashes the full might and power of the Office of President to implement his immigration plan.
The guy isn't a monster. He knows this is going to hurt, and he very much would like to see those who will truly join us as new Americans, move through the immigration process as smoothly as possible.
I find it laughable that those who scream the loudest against Trump, b/c he’s this that and the other thing, yet will willingly fall behind doing things the same old way over and over again. Trump cannot be trusted! - Oh, but trust another career politician to “fix” the problem. That to me is the disconnect so many here demonstrate. I’m done with career politicos - I hate their freaking guts, b/c every single one of them are LIARS first ... Oh, yes, some sugar coat their BS better than others, but, in the end, all the sugar in the world will not change the fact that a steaming pile of bloody hog turd is just that.
