I’d like to see some research on the link, if any, between a lack of religion and drug abuse.

As to stopping it, Imperial China stopped the opium trade in the late 19th century. It just takes the governmental will to act

Yes, China DID stop it!

The thing is, I remember when doing drugs was NOT "cool" at all and heavily frowned upon. Only the fringe of the fringe indulged in it.

But as I stated in an earlier post, I just do NOT understand WHY anyone would even try drugs. Nor do I understand why anyone would drink to get drunk, either.

What I do find shocking, is that heroin use is such a BIG problem in N.H. !

Me, I prefer the limited government and individual liberties our Founding Fathers fought and died for - but then, I'm an American conservative.
