The ABC GOP Debate with Donald Trump scored the best ratings of the year so far. The debate averaged a 9.3 household rating according to Nielson's markets. CNN reported:
Bucking a trend of declining debate ratings, ABC's Saturday night GOP face-off was the highest rated debate so far in 2016, according to overnight Nielsen ratings data.
The debate averaged a 9.3 household rating between 8:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. in Nielsen's so-called metered markets.
The debate on Fox Business Network (a cable channel that is harder to find than ABC) had a 7.4 rating in mid January. The debate on Fox News Channel two weeks later -- the one Donald Trump skipped -- had an 8.4 rating.
Saturday's GOP debate also far surpassed MSNBC's Democratic debate earlier in the week which had a 3.3 household rating

Americans are really fired up for the election this year. I hope that’s bad news for the commie lib DemocRATS and their freeloading, low information voters.
Trump is money at these debates.
First Republican debates. The Democrats had their network debates on two Saturday nights and a Sunday night in January. The RATs debate didn’t score as high.

Truth to your comment about being told who to vote for. Remember when churches bused people to the polls in FL and told them to vote for #2 forgetting that Buchanan was on ballot making Bush #2. They cried about that.

Seriously, many of my clients are union workers and they will be told who to vote for and that person will be the one with the D after his... or her name. Have tried to talk to them but thinking isn’t part of the requirements for a union job. Just pay the dues and vote how you are told..
Anecdotal: My father is a major Obama supporter, he owns two obama baseball caps. He likes Trump now, first debate he watched. Trump is going to do very well in the blue states.
My father and father-in-law were union lemmings. Could never reason with either. I think they thought the union could tell if they didn’t vote Dem
Trump will be our next president. And he’ll have a Republican Congress to undo everything the Kenyan usurper has done. Expect DemoRats to start fleeing the country ahead of the treason charges they’ll face under Trump’s Justice Department.
