I disengaged from FB almost as soon as I joined, back when it first came out.
I made the mistake of “friending” a “American Jazz Bass Player” in Egypt, and he started posting MB propaganda videos on my wall!
FB chased me for years trying to get me to “re-consider” but I don’t want anything to do with them.
I hear ya. I signed up to keep someone else from using my screen name.
I’ve done that with a number of different services.
Folks can reach me at the major public eMail places, under DoughtyOne.
I don’t do facebook or twitter...though if directly linked to a particular post I might see what about if it interests me...but generally it’s a waste of time....twitter is good to get articles to retrieve from overseas news sites though..they often post their organizations and can be some interesting reads.

That’s why I will never go near Facebook. People I have known who communicate only on FB are sayonara to me.
I’m much too private a person to put up a “profile” online that anyone in the world including Omar & Achmed can access. As you can tell, I’m not a people person either.
I have a phone number & an email address. That’s it.
