MANCHESTER, N.H. – Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) retains a double-digit lead over Hillary Clinton in a state poll released Sunday, but Clinton has begun to narrow his lead.

The CNN/WMUR poll showed about a third of New Hampshire Democrats saying they haven’t made a final choice two days before the nation’s first primary vote on Tuesday.

Sanders leads 58 percent to 35 percent in the survey of likely Democratic voters conducted by the University of New Hampshire, and he beats her in nearly every demographic.

I suspect they’ll roll out Joe Biden or Elizabeth Warren in the next couple of weeks.

It would be great to see Shrillary even lose the women vote to Bernie.

You can pretty much guarantee any college-age woman voting for Bernie. They see Shrillary as their scold of a grandmother.

Can’t be. The Cruz supporters say the polls are all wrong in New Hampshire.

I guess we’ll be seeing a lot of Clinton specialty “coin tosses” when the precinct ballot counts come up “tied”.

They will have a real problem getting on the ballot in a lost of places. Deadlines have passed and are passing every week.

A near octogenarian alzheimer’s patient and a pseudo-Indian. What could possibly go wrong there?

Biden doesn’t have to go thru the primary season to get the nomination. They could have a brokered convention and nominate Biden there.

When have rules ever stopped Democrats?

True, but then why “roll him out” now? If he gets rolled out, you’re going to see a lot of stories about how frustrated Dems are that they can’t vote for him because he isn’t on the ballot.

The Dems are in a tight spot. If they have to throw someone else in the mix, it will get messy and seem amateurish.

Scary to me that a Communist is doing so well. Shows how far to left the country has gone.

The easiest way to make Hillary lose votes is to make her laugh. Hear that cackle once and every time you hear it again, you will expect to hear her end with, “And your little dog too!”

I think Hillary will lose by over 25 percentage points to Comrade Bernie on Tuesday, and the Clintonistas using the excuse that NH is in Bernie’s backyard won’t hide the fact that she’s a weak frontrunner with a fading candidacy. Think Fauxahontas is kicking herself for not getting in the race though I believe she will be the eventual VP candidate.

If the FBI recommends an indictment against Hillary, she could drop out and Biden fill the void. The Dems allocate a lot of at large delegates who can sway the nomination.

In order to win the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, a candidate must win 2,383 delegates at the national convention (this total is current as of February 06, 2016). Currently, there are expected to be 4,764 delegates at the Democratic National Convention.[7]

There are two basic types of Democratic convention delegates: pledged and unpledged. A candidate is eligible to win a share of the pledged delegates at stake in a state if he or she receives at least 15 percent of votes cast in a primary or the preferences expressed in a caucus, either in a congressional district or statewide. Individuals who are pledged delegates are "pledged" to support the candidate to whom they are allocated. There are expected to be approximately 4,051 pledged delegates at the 2016 convention. There are three categories of pledged delegates: congressional district delegates, at-large delegates and pledged party leader and elected officials (PLEO delegates).

15% of the delegates are unpledged.

They will try to bring in Biden/Warren. Also, with Hillary tanking, I think there will be no reason not to indict her.

Yeah, but by Feb 16th, Biden will have already missed the deadline for 1,234 delegates (that’s the day the deadline for Pennsylvania closes.) That means that he will be ineligible for 26% of all estimated delegates.

If Hillary drops out, Sanders will be running unopposed in any contest from the time she drops out until Biden can meet the deadline.

It will be a mess for any Democrat who doesn’t want Sanders to be the nominee. They basically have to keep Hillary running but agree to drop out during the convention. Can you say 1968 all over again? It will be a madhouse!

It really is amazing to me how bad of a candidate she has been. I suppose some would say they expected it, but she has had 10-12 years to prepare for this. This illustrates her hubris - she expected a coronation instead of having to win a nomination.

Her campaign has been dreadful.

Hillary could remain on the ballot for some time to come. Her pledged delegates would then go elsewhere. It is actually to the Dems advantage that the FBI delay a recommendation for indictment. It gives Hillary an opportunity to amass more delegates.

There s no way the Dem Establishment allows Bernie to be the nominee.
