Sorry Trump never declared he was evangelical just Christian. And Cruz did nothing to reprimand his staff at very least. That makes him complicit at least. Evil should be reserved for evil like abortion. This is not principled on Cruz part but not evil.
You do not know if he reprimanded his staff, it would be rather tacky if he publicly did. You however assume he did not, and serve judgement solely on your judgement.
I am sorry, but Trump did say he was an Evangelical on TV. Who cares what flavor anyway. Truely as Evangelical is a very broad spectrum, who cares beyond the basic statement of faith. Not quite sure why you deny that, perhaps it is something that is an issue to you. I can respect that.

CNN may have set this up, they LOVE the damages their “mistake” has done to the Tea Party. They pulled off quite a coup for the marxists. They have a long history of lies and sabotage.
