I didn’t defend anything, I pointed out the facts. I specifically stated you have to split the blame, but the fact is the government made the final decision, they could have simply said no. That’s not defending either side. It’s simply pointing out the facts, which you won’t hear on the news.
Trump has to share some of the blame, he used his wealth and connections for his personal gain, but the government has to take a share of the blame too, someone could have just said no. That’s not defending either one, just stating the facts. And Trump is not the only one that’s ever done it, just the one taking the heat for it right now.
My point was, nobody has been willing to call out the government, whether federal, state or local, for their part in it. And they have the final decision, not the developer.
