Who on earth are you watching/listening to???
The entire week’s media cycle was this: Cruz cheated, Cruz is a nasty guy, Cruz is terrible. All fueled by the incoherent writings of a raving lunatic on Twitter.
Trump comes across as bipolar almost, the media joins in and slams Cruz, with the only remaining story being the “amazing” third place finish of Rubio...
Had your boy done his job (as he claimed he could) the narrative would have been how Iowa was the end of Senator Cruz. And the character of Trump would have continued to shine thru, smearing the other losers left and right...
Instead, the media wants to divert your attention from the political beating Trump took in Iowa, losing with literally a 14 point swing from polling to actual results.
Cruz lead in all the polls till a week out when he allowed crazy Beck in campaign. Then he immediately went down. Beck is a moron. Without Carson stealing (probably Beck’s idea) Carson’s votes, Trump would have probably won, even without a ground game. Cruz has won his last state.
“Had your boy done his job (as he claimed he could) the narrative would have been how Iowa was the end of Senator Cruz”
Iowa would never have gone for Trump - they pick evangelical losers.
That Trump picked up so many delegates is showing his strength, even with all the lying and intimidation.
Cruz apologized (again) to Carson at the debate for the dirty tricks
With Cruz’s apology and admittance of sleezy, dishonest tactics, it demonstrated the unethical side of St Canuck and just how phony he is vs the image he tried to project.
Just as Rubes was unmasked as a well rehearsed robot, St Canuck was unmasked as a sleezy politician.
Give it a couple of days, give it a couple of days.
“The entire weekâs media cycle was this: Cruz cheated, Cruz is a nasty guy, Cruz is terrible”
—to be fair, it’s not only the media saying this. Also his colleagues, competitors, family, casual acquaintances..
I have heard this repeated many times here with some people claiming Trump underperformed by over 20%. I would like some links to the actual polls taken before the caucus that showed he was going to win by such a large margin. The polls that I saw showed Trump leading by approximately 3% but the same polls showed momentum for both Cruz and Rubio. Even Trump with all his bravado was only saying that he was hopeful because of the numbers, but I do not remember him predicting victory even when pressed repeatedly. Cruz beat Trump by 3.3%, not exactly a "beating" and it is possible that some of the dirty tricks Cruz pulled did translate into votes. But again... Where do you get your numbers?
