Young people are always looking to rebel against and outrage their elders. Always been that way. I think some of us feed into it by showing that outrage. Certainly, our outrage is exactly what they are looking for.
I raised two sons to adulthood during the 1990s and 2000s and they turned out just fine. I never censored the music they wanted to play or the books they wanted to read. We had respect for each others intellectual curiosities. They are fans of classical music not because I ever pushed it on them as an "alternative to the crap out there" but because I played it in the house so often. I even appreciated some of their music, like Arcade Fire and Deathcab for Cutie (good music despite the awful name). With respect to music, they make their own choices and they appear able to separate the wheat from the chaff on their own. They were always well-behaved and never got into serious trouble.
Who is this Beyonks, anyway?
Won’t be watching the game ... haven’t watched major league football since they went on strike while American troops were still in the thick of it in Vietnam, leaving us with no football films on Sundays in the U.S.O.

This is especially for those of you who MIGHT be tempted to watch the so-called super bowl (where 300 pound guys earning 7 figures a year knock the piss out of one another while America circles the drain!) or its half time “show”.
As if the NFL subjecting us to lady caca and what I’m sure will be a heartfelt and stirring rendition of the National Anthem isn’t enough, there will be THIS OTHER abomination as explained by Mark Dice in this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOuX74u0RaY
For those who would like to see what sort of crap many of your kids may be listening to from these “talents”, I’ve posted below the alleged lyrics of beyonce’s “song”.

There’s definitely something to your argument.
But it seems to me by the time Beyonce got popular there wasn’t anything rebellious about liking Beyonce. Wasn’t she was universally heralded as this great new talent by the media? Anyhow, seem like one would actually be more rebellious today not to dig her and this dancing prancing showtune stuff.
