I don’t doubt that the audience was made up with a lot of people opposed to Trump, but I thought they were correct to boo his eminent domain answer.

When you go through a two-year eminent domain court case like the one I and my family went through some years ago, you will have cause to comment on something you and most folks know little to nothing about. I know it from the inside out.
Mr. Trump was spot on in everything he said and has been saying about eminent domain...a subject which inspires scare talk, anecdotal horror stories, misinformation and outright lies among the uninformed.

You are one of this people that think you can actually own something. You can't truly own anything, as long as the state has the power to tax you beyond your ability to pay, that makes your property simply into a rental.

Sorry, but Mr.T was spot on in his answer. The courts have ruled the same way. Eminent domain is just that. And zoning boards are known to deem anything as...”public use” or “for the public good” - even if it’s a private enterprise.
