Newt may have been a scumbag, but he had one great idea: get the news media out of the equation and let the eventual candidates go at it in unmoderated Lincoln-Douglas style debates.
Megyn Kelly and many others think it is all about them and their agenda to take candidates down.
Newt would have been a great nominee last go around IMHO. Hope Carson does well tonight, and hope Trump wins and locks in N.H..
