No I do not object to stadiums being built in major metropolitan areas - as long as they are privately owned and privately financed. Taxpayers have enough on their plates without paying for stadiums that billionaire owners can easily afford and finance themselves.

I forgot to add that eminent domain for private use has been going on long before folks jumped on Trump for trying to use it.

Dodger stadium is a privately owned and privately financed, but as far as I know, no one gave the Dodger owners significant grief in seizing the homes in Chavez Ravine to build the stadium.
