And those gigantic solar farms. Wind farms and solar farms are two of the biggest eyesores ever created by man.

And let’s not forget every city’s “urban renewal” projects. Stadiums, tourist areas, etc. Take Baltimore’s inner harbor, for example. I remember when it was grungy warehouse and dock district. It’s now the gem of the city, occupied with restaurants and private tourist businesses (no doubt paying land-rent and taxes to the city). Eminent domain is more complicated than I had given thought to.
