Does anyone out there want to know why I moved out of RI 10 yrs ago and never looked back?
I left Rhode Island 62 years ago. Of course, I was only six months old and needed my mother to do the actual move, but I knew even then that growing up in RI wasn't going to be a fit for me ...
Actually, when the TICONDEROGA changed her base to Norfolk from RI, my mother and I shipped with my father (who was assigned to the Big T) for the transfer ... and I had my diapers changed on the flight deck.
I thought Raimondo was supposed to be fiscally conservative..a numbers cruncher?

Both of her sisters also married Georgia boys. Two brothers married Alabama girls. Two other brothers stayed home in RI with RI wives.
