Christie is not my first choice or second one. But I am starting to like him more and more. Boy in the Bubble describes Rubio well.

FOX will go to great length to protect their boy Rubio. They now have a chance to make a president out of somebody who is a totally empty suit. Would it include feeding him the answers to interviews ahead of time?

I was in a hurry and do not recall where I saw on FR a mention that Rubio might be the Republican John Edwards. This might be just another false rumor, but I have heard similar ones for some time.
