Mass Immigration/Globalism are Prerequisites to Fundamental American Change
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | February 5, 2016 | Sundance

The head of Fox News, Mr. Wall Street, aka billionaire Rupert Murdoch (not an American) is one of the strongest advocates for mass immigration into the U.S. to fundamentally change the dynamics of the U.S. economy.

This approach further solidifies the modern American future as service driven only - a traditional class society, "haves and have-much-less". The middle class evaporates along with the lost jobs and wages.

I have watched the H-1B visa program destroy middle class lives for 2 1/2 decades. Have you ever heard the MSM or Rush ever discuss it?

This is an attempt to remove/lower our middle class doers from the economic ladder.

This could be more disastrous than the illegal invasion.

Wipe out our STEM people, and America will become a third class country in a couple of decades or less. A prize job will selling Coffee at a Starbucks.

The government should have not been able to force banks to give loans to minorities that could not pay it back. The banks should not have been able to sell those so called assets at the risk of the stockholders and taxpayers, and they should have never been bailed out. The new regulations just make them bigger to fail. We are at a point now where we were in 2008, suffer for awhile and get back to a free market or just let the government take over. As a person with a degree and successful career in business, this is painful to watch.

The bill passed the senate.

Ooooo, so it's Ted Cruz' fault that it passed the Senate!

Go soak your head.

I think a lot of his popularity stems from raising issues that our overlords had decided were settled and beyond debate.

This resurrecting of those issues has the GOPe and their kissing cousins, the DEMe in full panic.

I agree with you. While I am open to legal immigration in refined and reasonable quantities,I am apposed to H-!. We have thousands of new and highly educated serving coffee because we import Indians. I’m sick of it. I read and article that some recent IT grads have gone to India for work!! The work is done there for American companies paying Indian stipends. We have non conservatives in this party that hight promote the H-1 death of American jobs because they get money from companies dont the deed.

H-1B could be argued is an unconstitutional "bill of attainder".

Boycott Fox, send Murdoch packing back to Oz, where he came from! Murdoch take MGYN with you to Oz.

Obumbler + Rupert Murdoch - two Manchurin reps within our midst and what do Republicans do? Bash each other like they would never do to either Shrillary (Socialist) or Bernie (Marxist). The RINOs reserve all their venom for their conservative base.

It's a cold fact. Read and learn or continue to post that nonsense and look a fool.

You are holding Cruz as having nothing to do with the failure of the bill. You hold him accountable because it passed the Senate? He's one (1) Senator. Sessions said he fought it the whole way. Here is what Sessions said:

"Ted Cruz was on MY SIDE and fought this legislation all the way through".

"They had a scheme -- a plan to vote down every amendment no matter what the amendment was. They did it because they said they had acheived a delegate balance between enforcement, and they had the perfect bill... Every amendment was voted down by every Democrat and a number of Republicans. it was a tense."... "It was that close to being passed... and I think I can say this with integrity. Without the vigorous opposition of Ted Cruz, this bill likely would have passed."

He's pretty clear about it. You know full well that the American people's opposition to this bill killed it. Once an opposition has been raised it's easier to kill a bill. It takes time to raise an opposition. Ted Cruz helped buy time and give support to the public opposition. So cut your bitching that he wasn't king.

The most you can say about Cruz helping that outcome is if the discussion sparked in 2013 made the bill too toxic to pass in the House immediate after Senate passage. But again, an event like Brat’s was needed to cause it to be permanently shelved.

I just got to this post. Here is the reply I had just written in full agreement with the above.

Yet you ignore Cruz’s own words. He defended and insisted he wanted his amendments to pass....more h1 b visas, more 3rd world immigration, LEGALIZE AND DEPORT no illegals...all of his flip flops are since he ran for pres...YOU are too smart to fall for this lawyer con man, Carry_Okie.

Cruz’s biggest lie is insisting that legalization isn’t amnesty. CRUZ.....Expand legal immigration - double it! 500% increase on H1B Visas. LEGAL status for all illegals. HIS words, short and sweet, in the first minute!

-- Ted Cruz had nothing to do with it not passing. It was Dave Brat's primary over Eric Cantor that killed it, and just barely. --

Exactly right. The bill got out of the Senate with 68 votes.

The entire elite class, both parties, has the same ultimate objective and underlying political principle of advancing globalism. Making the federal government operate this far out of its constitutional boundaries is just a stepping stone.

Cruz is part of the “pro wrestling” token opposition. He’s a globalist at heart. Somebody has to play the part of “against,” otherwise the people would wise up.

I haven't. I take Sessions' word for it in this instance.

Cruz's biggest lie is insisting that legalization isn't amnesty. CRUZ.....Expand legal immigration - double it! 500% increase on H1B Visas. LEGAL status for all illegals. HIS words, short and sweet, in the first minute!

This is what is in writing as of this year:

Halt any increases in legal immigration so long as American unemployment remains unacceptably high. The purpose of legal immigration should be to grow the economy, not to displace American workers. Under no circumstances should legal immigration levels be adjusted upwards so long as work-force participation rates remain below historical averages.

Enforce the public-charge doctrine. Current federal law requires legal immigrants and their American sponsors to certify that they will be economically self-sufficient. Despite this existing legal requirement, which is known as the public-charge doctrine, an estimated 49 percent of households headed by legal immigrants receive some form of government assistance. This is both illegal and unacceptable. America is a land of opportunity, but should not provide the opportunity to be subsidized by the American taxpayer. A Cruz Administration will require all legal immigrants and their sponsors to demonstrate by compelling evidence that they have the educational and professional tools to provide for themselves and their families.

End birthright citizenship. It makes no sense for us to be providing the tremendous incentive of automatic citizenship to the children of those who enter illegally. Most nations on earth do not do so, and neither should we. Birthright citizenship was meant to ensure that the children of slaves were guaranteed citizenship. It was not meant to confer citizenship on the children of people who are here illegally; nor was it intended to confer citizenship on the children of birth tourists, a burgeoning industry that makes a mockery of American citizenship. As President, I will take immediate steps to pass legislation or a constitutional amendment to end birthright citizenship.

Looks good to me. As to his position on H1-B visas: Suspend the issuance of all H-1B visas for 180 days to complete a comprehensive investigation and audit of pervasive allegations of abuse of the program: Initiate an immediate 180-day investigation and audit of the H-1B visa program and enact fundamental reforms of this program to ensure that it protects American workers. In recent months, more and more reports have become public of companies replacing American workers with cheaper foreign workers, contrary to the stated intent of the H-1B visa program.

This will stop, and the H1-B program will be suspended until we can be certain that the program is no longer being abused.

Unless your opposition is to all immigration, this is a good plan. Nor is there anything in this plan that advocates specifically for third whirled immigration, a meme that strikes me as being of your own fears.

Now remember, I don't support Ted Cruz. I am merely opposing mis-characterizations of what he has done. The true amnesty fraud here is Trump, who plans a "touchback" amnesty to bring back our current crop of illegals as future Democrats. I DO oppose him as the dishonest thug employer of illegals he's always been. On immigration, Cruz' is the best written plan out there.

The crucial words are “as of this year.” The point has been made that his views have become much more anti-immigration since Trump held everyone’s feet to the fire on this issue. He wants to be president. Trump’s arguments are so powerful and gathering so much support that it forced Cruz to become more American.
