He just bragged and bragged; he didn’t give us a vision for the country. After watching that speech, I knew that my affection for Trump was purely out of entertainment. I could never support him politically.

He summed up what a lot of FReepers have said.

Trump lost IA., and in response attacked Cruz's character and created a phony issue about a mailer. Trump's attacks are always about the person. He has no real policy positions other than "it will be great, trust me", "it will be good, trust me", "everyone is an idiot, trust me".

This is the mistake people make about Trump that he has no vision for the country.

Trump does have a vision for the country and that vision is whatever Trump believes it should be on any given day.

Only his vision is important.

If we elect Trump, over the long run, it will go down as a bigger mistake even than electing the Marxist, Obama. If for no other reason than he will so poison the political well, we’ll be stuck with more marxists for at least a decade after he finally slithers away.
