Thanks for telling us about Anderson Cooper. I rarely watch his program! I’d better set my TIVO right now.

I’d better set TIVO to record BOR, too!

I think Blue Bloods is a repeat so that shouldn’t interfere.

Yes, Joe Scarborough and his pals all treat Donald Trump very nicely and very friendly and I agree with you that Joe would have no trouble at all voting for Donald Trump.

I’m going to set my TIVO now.

Blue Bloods is one of my favorite shows!! I don’t always stay up until 10 or watch it all the way through (tend to be more of an early riser). ION (Channel 3 on my Comcast here) plays older reruns on Thursdays. WGNA (128 on my Comcast here - just recently found it) plays older runs of Walker Texas Ranger (used to love that show), In the Heat of the Night (had forgotten about that one, but good series), and older Blue Bloods. I catch the newer Blue Bloods, NCIS, and NCIS LA on Xfinity on demand.

I had to Google for the answers...

“Heat of the Summer” - I would have never had gotten that one.

“Baby You’ve Been On My Mind” - I am a BIG fan of the songwriter but missed this one. In my Google search, I discovered Linda Ronstadt did a cover.

I absolutely loved Linda from her beginning roots when she recorded a song written by a “Monkey” whose mother invented “Liquid Paper”. But when she teamed up with Paul McCartney’s ex-girlfriend’s brother, she became a major star.

Linda R. Questions:
1. Which Monkey wrote Linda’s first hit?
2. Who was Linda’s producer with the McCartney connection (and was a part of a British Duo that had some hits themselves including a song written by Del Shannon?

Good grief...I had waaay too much coffee this morning...

“Hint:One written by probably the most gifted song writer of all time. He still does concerts.”

Barry Manilow? Neil Diamond?

Mr. Trump told me he knew about FR and said we do a great job.

I’d hate for him to see FR now and ditto for Sarah Palin who also checks here, (or used to).

The trashing and bashing of Sarah Palin is beyond ugly and in my opinion and solely confined to my personal view, “unforgivable.”

I pinged some of you that are frequent on this thread to a thread Aunt B started:

Farmers organizing rally to show Trump support
Albany Herald ^ | Feb. 2,2016 | Brad McEwen read yesterday

I found an update on the news site and added to Aunt B’s thread:

Here is a link to the turnout, etc. for the Farmer’s rally yesterday (thanks again for posting the original thread!!).

Farmers for Trump draws hundreds to Sasser political rally

A fly-by by a quartet of crop-dusters opens the rally for Donald Trump

I knew the Ricky Nelson answer and was pretty sure Sylvia & her husband were Canadians. I cannot tell you why or how that little factoid came into my head. I couldn’t think of any of their songs! LOLOLOL.

Why do these threads keep disappearing from sidebar?

I don’t believe that Trump can be beaten in a one-on-one situation.

I agree, Onyx!

I supported Cruz when he first announced (and was thrilled when he won the Senate seat - based on what I read on FR). I have been souring on him, but would probably vote for him if he is the Pubbie nominee - not that it would matter much in my neck of the woods. I can’t believe the ugly and nasty posts of the Cruz supporters and how many are anti-Palin - just fodder for the Dims IMHO. There are a handful of Cruz supporters that are especially hateful - a few have even been suspended but are now back on. I don’t even go to threads they start and have been tempted to respond to some of their posts to Trump threads, but have so far not done so as I don’t want to get down in the mud with them and they won’t listen anyway - they’re like Charlie Brown listening to his teacher (la-la-la blah-blah-blah) if you try to have a civil discussion (like we always used to be able to do). Even though some appear to have registered to FR some years ago, I don’t recall seeing their aliases until the past few months and can’t help but think some are Dim trolls (I thought the same thing during the last campaign) - they seem to come out of the woodwork during presidential elections.

LOL ... Blue Bloods *is* my favorite show and I also watch the replays on ION!

I also TIVO my favorite episodes of Blue Bloods so that I have my favorite programs to watch whenever I’m bored or can’t find anything I want to watch that’s on TV at the moment.

I like NCIS too and watch their replays. Ditto for Law & Order, but I think I’ve seen all at least 5 times.

Just heard that the founder and leader for Earth, Wind and Fire passed away after a long bout with Parkinson. I loved that group! Great dancing music!!

Marco’s pulling the Cruz strategy of laying off Trump until close to the vote. He may very well take Trump on in the debate. I look for Rubio to show off his smarts with foreign policy and he won’t be so kind as he was about the nuclear triad. He will try to make Trump look unprepared for President.

Hopefully Trump will be up on the TPA cloture vote enough to know that Rubio and Cruz brought us fast track, aka the Iran Deal and shortly TPP. This is the kind of crap that’s killing our economy and no candidate really talks about trade except Trump because they can’t.

I used to watch Law & Order all of the time - guess I got a bit burned out as there were so many of them.

I watch HGTV quite a bit. And, don’t tell anyone, I’ll confess, sometimes I just don’t want to have to think about anything and will tune into one of the Real Housewives shows (I’m embarrassed to admit it with all of the great minds on FR).

Wasn’t Mickey Dolenz it was the other guy, with the stocking cap, who apparently was involved with a lot of people. Very talented.

Yesterday respomded to a thread denying Cruz dirty tricks with a quote about the employee of Cruz who had done the same dirty trick on another candidate years ago. Not only did they shut up but left the thread. Told them it surely wasnt CRUZ that was the problem but the people he employed. What could they say with truth facing them ?

Why did TPA give us the Iran deal? I’m not clear on the question.
