Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., charged the Obama administration with quietly signing the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement in New Zealand, and said the White House tried to minimize it because it knows the public isn't pleased with the deal.

They lay out exactly what Cruz was up to over on that article I linked you to.
He supported it and then voted against it to provide cover.
Look at the cloture vote.
The guy had pushed it all along, then changed his mind, then voted on cloture to bring it to the floor, then voted against it knowing it was going to pass.
If anyone else did this, you’d spot it right away.
Now of course, it means nothing.
Well, it does.
There’s a video there as well. Watch it.

Cloture voting as a way to hide one’s real position has been something Cruz has ranted about for forever.
He does it here, and no one wants to admit that’s what happened.
I must shake my head and say, “He’s not the one.”

He’s my 2nd choice and used to be my first choice until this TPA stuff and the ridiculous comment that he didn’t know he had Canadian citizenship.

Just wait a minute. Cruz is in favor of TPA, he has stated that he is in favor of TPA, and he voted against it because the final bill had a re-authorization for the Ex-Im Bank and immigration provisions that he did not support.
Is this really that complicated for you guys to understand?

His standing has waned for me too.
I used to want him for the V.P. slot, but not anymore.
There’s something about him that I can’t stomach any longer.

I know.
I’d rather have a crude General Patton kicking butt and speaking his mind no matter what happens, than a political Colin Powell shifting with the wind.
Trump = Patton
Cruz = Powell

The man supported it for months. Voted to bring it to cloture so Chinese and Russian admission couldn’t be blocked.
Then he voted against it, to keep his record clean.
And you claim this as a victory.
There’s a video of him promoting it at the link on the site you trashed. No wonder you trashed it.
Here’s something else to help you rasp what Ted pulled.

I hear Patton cussed every now and then.
We should have fired him right away on that one.

He did not vote against TPA (thanks for acknowledging it, finally) in order to "keep his record clean." That's just paleo-conservative projection of the highest order.
And I'm claiming nothing as a "victory," please get a grip.
I'll come back when people sober-up a bit.

He pushes it for months. Helps get it to the floor right away so China and Russia can’t be blocked from joining, and you give him grace for not voting for it.
The guy stinks. You know it.
You’re defense of him stinks.
