Yep for the Russians, it’s to kill or to be killed.

BRAVO PUTIN!
While Kerry was sitting like a dumbass wanting to stall, you cut off supply lines and took their stronghold.

You are strangling Saudi Arabia economically and soon Erdogen will go nuts from provocation and youll simply kill him thus destroying the US and Saudis war machine in East.

Excellent!!!!!

This is great news for people who don’t want a wahabbist theocracy to replace Assad. Very good news for Syrian Christians.

Yep. I said it when Russia entered the fray - Putin is not in this for a brokered peace or settlement and eliminating ISIS is secondary. He is in it to win and victory for him is that his ally survives. Assad is no Saint and his support of Hamas/Hezbollah is well documented, but he was/is better than the alternative. This administrations feckless foreign policy and push for regime change in the Middle East has been a disaster across the board.

Just imagine what it would look like if the Egyptian military had not stepped in and tossed Obama’s choice to govern Egypt?

Bad news for the pro-ISIS white house.

Check your local GOP candidates as well...most of them support what the US is doing in Syria and more.

Obama’s Bay of Pigs. Kennedy betrayed the Brigade 2056 of Cuban freedom fighters by withdrawing crucial air support. Obama did the same thing by NOT sending the “moderate rebels” basic anti-aircraft missiles (Blowpipes, SA-7 knock-offs, etc. as well as some older Stingers. The Stingers were the single most important weapon that defeated the Soviets in Afghanistan).

Obama has chosen the said of the Islamists (Hamas, Hezbollah, Iranian Republic Guards and Assad’s killers) but that was to be EXPECTED because of who Obama is (A Red in a burqa).

this is more than that — though those poitns are important. If the Moslems win in Syria then Russia has a jihadi problem creeping up to Chechnya

The Islamic state can be crushed easily by a modern military with an air force — once the Rosjanie turn their gaze on them, they’ll bomb them to nothing — eastern Syria is flat, perfect aerial bombing territory

The “rebels” appear to be Islamists. It’s difficult to be sympathetic.

Rebels = ISIS

Destroy them

No planes from the US ... no way to defeat the S400 system = downed US plane. Any major event will involve Turkey ... Turkey imagining that they can drive the Russians out ... prediction if that comes to pass: Turkey on its own; no NATO; and Turkish incursion is over in 15 minutes with major Turkish losses (essentially Army, AF and Navy eliminated); Turkey no longer able to stop the Peshmerga. This last is why I do not think Erdogan would be so foolish, but its the vainglorious Islamic pride so one can’t say for certain.

Apparently as soon as the west is secured, Russia will turn to ISIS areas - numerous Russian volunteers are already fighting on that front. With full attention, no one will be left alive - men, women, children a la Grozney ... the Russian way of war.

The Chechins look to Grozney and shudder ... which is why their jihadis fled south.
