The first voice mail just said leave of absence and was consistent with the CNN piece. The second wasn’t relevant as my caucus had already collected votes by then, too late to change anything. Too bad Cruz didn’t get the news out at 6:30, like Rubio’s gang did on Twitter. Who knows, maybe Rubio’s guys DID put the message out at my caucus. Out of 435 votes Marco got 171, Trump 100, Cruz 83 and Carson but 5 votes in 9th place with only 1 votes cast behind him.
Not to mention he wasn’t a naturalized US citizen until 2005. The guy is fraud and it amazes me the amount of Freepers who support this creep. I grew up in New York city, I’ve known Trump since the 70s, even worked for him, the guy is the real deal. He is absolutely obsessive about winning, completely pathological and I wish people would realize what an absolute gift this is to the country because I can guarantee them 1000000% if he is POTUS there will not be one single solitary area in his Presidency that will be able to be tagged as “failing”
I think the multiple failed marriages, and the bankruptcies, suggest that Trump is not a stranger to failure.
Come on. Cruz and his team are the smartest guys in the room, remember? They certainly know the code word for serious speech goes like this:
” I am *suspending* my campaign “
Without those words, lawyer Ted’s team of jackals know very well how to say the following:
“Hold up, everybody, let’s go get a confirmation from Ben.”
It’s certainly not because they don’t have Ben’s phone number.
This is politics and only relevant because Cruz by his on accord or some contrived fantasy by conservative voters nearly granted him sainthood. He’s a politician. Politicians as saints always disappoint.

The Cruz team is the smartest team in the room, right? Why were they the only cabal to get it so wrong? Why not call Ben? It’s not like they didn’t have his number, and get confirmation?
The only words that matter in any campaign are the words of the contender himself, saying that “I am suspending my campaign.” It is the only legal requirement for all campaigns.
Phrases such as saying, To go home, to take leave, to not go here, or there does not “suspend”.
Who doesn’t know that? Even I know that.
Cruz perhaps didn’t know what was going on, but an hour and seventeen minutes later, the campaign operatives were still saying it and even embellishing the Cnn report. Cruz probably HAD to know by then. Carson had already clarified by then.
Interesting that so many Trump supporters are up at the un-Godly hour of 5AM east coast (USA) time. My excuse is that I slept too long during the day yesterday.
OK, I just saw that the last post prior to mine was at 2:45 AM eastern time, 11:45 PM western. So I guess that’s a more reasonable time to still be up.
His campaign is broke and he has not received his infusion of cash from the RNC for starting this hit piece on Cruz yet.
When that cash comes in, it will be off to the races again in his new shiny duds with a great big smile across his face.
The founder is also a Cruz guy.

Even Megyn Kelly said she thought it sounded like Carson was dropping out when they heard the news about his trip to Florida to search for new pants.
Why would they ask Carson? This was leaked info. It wasn’t anything Carson would’ve gone public with. He sure wouldn’t have admitted it to Cruz before announcing it in public. Carson would’ve wanted to keep this quiet even if it was true. It’s a rumor that got out of control for sure, but that’s just human nature at work. No one’s to blame for it.
Sleep is overrated.
I’m typically up 20 hours a day. I only need hours, and I’m good for another 20.
I remember Dr. Carson saying his wife refuted the rumor at one of the locations that he won.
The rumor wasn’t spread at every location. Seven precincts in my room, no rumors. Same with several friends I have checked with. First they heard about this was later, at home.
Going back, Candy Crowley had a transcript in her hand that Obama called for at a debate. Nothing done about that.
Like voicemail timestamps are 100% accurate.
