Of all three press secretaries Obama has had, Josh Earnest seems to be enjoying his job the least. With Jay Carney and Robert Gibbs, one had the feeling that they enjoyed the verbal rousting with Obama’s opponents or doubters.
Of course there is the type of person who can fulfill the requirements of their job without having to ‘like it’ at all.
I doubt if most of those (pre-labor union) Coal Miners of the
1920’s would have said they ‘like’ their jobs, although they took great pride in doing it correctly.

It’s sort of like a purgatory followed by great reward as they move on to crony capitalist gigs with 7 figure salaries.
Gibbs is now an EVP at McDonalds and Carney at Amazon.
