One of the two Virginia Tech students facing charges in connection with the alleged abduction and fatal stabbing of a 13-year-old girl had her bond request denied today as investigators said she admitted to planning the alleged murder.
Natalie Keepers, 19, broke down on the stand today in court as prosecutors detailed what she told investigators.
"I was excited to be part of something secretive and special," Keepers told FBI investigators, according to commonwealth prosecutor Mary Pettitt.
Keepers told police she bought a shovel with David Eisenhauer, the other Virginia Tech student who has been arrested in the case, before the alleged murder and then the pair went to a Walmart together to buy cleaning supplies while Nicole Lovell's body was still in the trunk of Eisenhauer's car, Pettitt said.
Keepers gave detectives information about where in her dorm room they could find a suitcase containing a blanket that Nicole had with her when she went missing and cleaning supplies that Keepers and Eisenhauer had used, according to Pettitt.
She also told police where to find the body, Pettitt said in court today.
Keepers was initially charged with a felony count of improper disposal of a dead body and a misdemeanor count of accessory after the fact in the commission of a felony. But later, on Feb. 2, the commonwealth's attorney said they were adding an additional charge of accessory before the fact to the first degree murder of Nicole Lovell. Keepers was arrested Jan. 31, the day after Lovell's body was found in Surry County, North Carolina.

Turns out she was a cutter. Her dad is in town for the bond hearing.
It’s odd how little imagination many murderers have - even the ones who do it for the thrill.
They cannot imagine themselves being caught, or how easy that will be.
Good God
What is wrong with this pair?
Her idea of “excitement” is stabbing another girl?
Watching her die in pain, probably screaming for help?
And the kid is an Eisenhauer — in NC, that means you are related to Dwight! His name was Anglicized after they had been here about a century.
What happened to them?!
The defining characteristic of any murderer is an majorly over sized ego.
Which is logical.
They have decided that their wants are more important then someone else's life.
Because of that they tend to think that they are much smarter then they are.
the thing that gets me is the lack of empathy that theses people have...I cant see hating a person enough to want to kill someone. the fact is that if it was my life or someone else’s especially if it was a kid I feel as a man it is my job to be the one to die so that kid had a chance at life...I don’t like the idea of the state executing people but in cases like this both people involved don’t deserve the cell space they live in.
Where do they get an “ego” from the premeditated killing of a 13-year old girl who battled health problems all her life? A filthy, evil thing to do but not one which would be the product of a genius criminal mind; unfortunately, it proved to be very easy for these two adult scumbos. If they wanted the thrill of murder, let them take on an adult - go into the “hood” and fight with MS-13; I think I could guess the outcome.
Interesting, I heard the guy has ties to N.C. The pair dumped the body of 89 near Lowgap N.C. They guy was familiar with the area.
Her health problems arouse pity and her determination to live admiration in a normal person but contempt in a person who is an egomaniac. She is "not like them" and so is not worthy of life. Why they are even doing her a favor by putting her out of her misery.
Take on an adult? That would have been coming but they would have been careful to render them helpless first. They are evil, not stupid.
“I was excited to be part of something secretive and special,”
Because that way she could ‘lock in’ the boy to ‘loving’ her and never leaving, because she was insecure about the scar on her face.
Because that way she could âlock inâ the boy to âlovingâ her and never leaving, because she was insecure about the scar on her face.
Does Keepers have a scare on her face?
“”Keepers gave detectives information about where in her dorm room they could find a suitcase””
Don’t think a college education would have helped her much. She thought detectives would need HELP finding a suitcase in a dorm room? Not playing with a full deck there.
I said scar, not scare. I guess you haven’t seen her picture.
P.S. Both suspects have facial pitting resembling meth users.
Maryland “Freeeeeeeeeak State” PING!

&&&
Because that is what the Evil One is whispering in their ears.
For motive: On a local report last night here in Maryland, it was said that the male and the victim had had an “inappropriate” relationship, which the victim was threatening to make public.
When we push God away from that ear, it leaves a space for someone else to whisper.
