I just got back from a consulting job in Texas. I won’t go into details except that my host mentioned that he is active in the local Tea Party and that they had Trump down a couple of months ago for a fundraiser.
He had NOTHING but good to say about Trump, who flew down on his own dime, did everything asked of him, was very generous.
I should have read it more carefully. It didn’t seem right, should have refrained from commenting.

You are right, and he should be getting some sleep. He can make his opinion known without getting so obsessive about it. I would think he can't afford to lose any more respect.
He or his workers have made some screwups lately. The voter shaming was distasteful to me no matter who was responsible for it. I can understand the Carson business started with CNN, but maybe more due diligence would have been in order.
He's so darn sharp witted; we can't have a candidate with no flaws. They all have flaws. It matters what they do about their flaws though.
Maybe the RNC can't be trusted any more than the DNC.
