Yeah you win the Troll award.

You are being a hypocrite by saying it’s OKAY for Cruz to attack Trump when he was not a politician, but not the other way around.

Double standards and you KNOW it.

So what? She was wrong about Romney. This is non issue. Even Reagan got SCOTUS wrong on a few. It happens.

Wrong. Read the story.

“While Cruz vocally supported Roberts’ nomination at the time, he was not yet a U.S. senator and therefore could not vote to confirm Roberts to the Supreme Court.”

And please... go back to September 2005, and you’ll see the majority of FReeper comments strongly in support of Roberts’ nomination, because he at the time had a conservative track record.

All this guy can do is bitch, bitch and more bitching.

Can he talk like a rational adult about any of his policies other than “I’ll bomb the chit out of them or I’ll sue the crap out of them”?

When Cruz began his career as a politician under Bush, he pushed for Roberts for SC. Roberts gave us Obamacare.

Roberts had a conservative track record. The majority of conservatives in this country supported that nomination.

Ok Trumpeters. Someone tell just what Trump has done to oppose Obamacare?

Ted Cruz and Mike Lee have fought as hard against Obamacare as an patriots I know. This is a low blow coming from Trump. If Trump had used this kind of anger against the democrats he might have won Iowa. He knows the country is angry and he thinks it's angry at Cruz.

Cruz actually wanted his old boss, Michael Luttig to get the job. He supported Roberts once the selection was made. And to be fair, at the time most thought Roberts was a good choice based on his record on the DC Circuit.

Unfortunately, like so many others Roberts appears to have “grown” on the court.

In reference to the tacky short bus comments often made? New low for Cruz supporter to make fun of special needs. Obama did that too.

Ted Cruz “confides that when he was a young lawyer learning how to argue a case in the Supreme Court, he had a role model: John G. Roberts—WSJ, 6/30/2015

In Ted’s own words: “Judge Roberts is a lawyers’ lawyer. And that matters immensely, especially for the U.S. Supreme Court.” —NRO, 7/20/05

“When I began practicing, I worked hard to emulate his argument style,’’ Mr. Cruz writes in the memoir, which goes on sale in book stores Tuesday. “You do not get to be the best Supreme Court advocate of your generation, as John was, without having an exquisite understanding of what makes each of the sitting justices tick.”—WSJ, 6/30/2015

In Ted’s own words: “As an individual, John Roberts is undoubtedly a principled conservative, as is the president who appointed him…But, as a jurist, Judge Roberts’s approach will be that of his entire career: carefully, faithfully applying the Constitution and legal precedent.”—NRO, 7/20/05

In Ted’s own words: “In November of 2000, I had spent the past year and half as domestic-policy adviser on the Bush campaign, and was part of the team assembling the lawyers to help litigate Bush v. Gore. We needed the very best lawyers in the country, and I called John and asked him to help. Within hours, he was on a plane to Florida.”—NRO, 7/20/05

Yeah he wasn't for Roberts NOW

Romney was the immigration hard liner last time which is why Ann supported Romney and why I voted for Romney. Some of us take the invasion of the USA by third worlders seeking to colonize us seriously. Others like those that support any candidate other than Donald Trump do not.

FYI I went third party when amnesty McCain ran.
