Santorum can't name any of Rubio's Senate accomplishments
Politico ^ | 2/4/16 | NOLAN D. MCCASKILL

Rick Santorum had one job to do in his appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Thursday. He failed.

The former Pennsylvania senator, who dropped his presidential bid Wednesday, told co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski he is supporting Marco Rubio's presidential campaign because the Florida senator is someone "who can work together with people." But Santorum struggled to name one accomplishment Rubio has had in the Senate.

"He's been in the Senate for four years," Scarborough noted. "Can you name his top accomplishment in the Senate - actually working in the Senate doing something that tilted your decision to Marco Rubio?"

Looks like the GOP is in the tank for Hillary. Rubio is the weakest candidate of the top 3 and is easily defeated by Hillary just by talking about his stance on immigration: it won’t impact the Democrat base but it will suppress voter participation on the Republican side. Trump and even Cruz will pound the hell out of Hillary over Benghazi and her lack of qualifications. Rubio will not, and if he tries he’ll be beaten the same way that Hillary beat Rick Lazio in New York: by making Rubio out to being “mean”.

Your whole post is longer than what he supposedly “accomplished”.

The tl;dr

99% defeats. He said McConnell was a liar, led a brief and worthless filibuster, and got one bill passed that required literally NO EFFORT.

Oh yeah, he gave a lot of speeches.

Wooooooooo! Got a regular John C. Calhoun here, folks!

The reason why no one remembers it is because it is forgettable.

And if that was Rubio’s record, I’ll doubt you would be waving it around like it was going out of style.

Santorum is a sell out. He’s always been a squish when the rubber met the road.

Yes. Rubio is the GOPe’s new Designated Loser to Hillary now that Jeb is almost out of the running.

“How accurate is that website?”

I’m not sure about ANY website, but the allegations are popping up all over the place now. The thing that IS credible though, is Marco was repeatedly hanging out in Florida locations that pretty much only homosexuals would venture into, seeking like minded ‘men’, looking to fulfill their urges.

Let me get this straight... Cruz is a do-nothing Senator because he has been the 4th most productive of his party... while bucking the party leadership?

Bottom line is you are against Cruz and no amount of information will let you see anything but negative in what he has done... so you aren't worth my time. Good bye.

He has an even shorter resume than Obama, and that’s saying something.

Follow the $$$...he’s likely getting a good payoff, maybe from the private prison systems who house illegal aliens and pay off BIG donations, mostly to Rubio. I believe Santorum stood as a place holder, always on the open border BIG $$$ team.

Must read

Rubio did lead Comprehensive Immigration through the committee and full Senate, where it passed. No matter how they try to weasel-word it, it was amnesty.

It died in the House.

Rubio hasn’t done much more in the Senate because he got bored that that august body was too slow and too deliberative and just not exciting.

If he did manage to get elected prez, how long before he gets bored there, too?

And this makes him gay? I am a Cruz guy but we need to not be trolling in the garbage cans for evidence against anyone.

“Wow, this won’t matter to Republican primary voters.”

I hope you’re wrong, but fear you’re correct. The gaystopo has advanced their agenda in our society so thoroughly, that many have become desensitized to how evil and depraved it really is. TeeVee shows the ‘happy’ gay couple smiling and holding hands and such, but has to leave out THE definitive act, sodomy, that those very sick ‘men’ are addicted to. A disconnect has been created.

“I’m backing Rubio. . . . . . Not sure why, Probably because he’s “smooth”.

What a lousy reason. Bill Clinton was “smooth,” too.

You are taking the slightly less unsuccessful of a huge group of complete screw-ups, and EXPECTING me to sing his holy praises?!

Maybe in the past I would be all on that, but that is GOP kool-aid nonsense that AM talk radio has tried to con us into being “ok” with.

So NO, I’m no longer going to do stuff like that. Sorry.
