Hate to say it, but I too thought it was superb. It was superbly condescending, arrogant and it did a superb job or reminding America that this guy simply believes that America is the enemy.
Yes. As Durbin wrote, it was a lecture. And a lecture to us Americans who still bleed red,white, and blue.
